Estee Lauder recently came out with a sub-brand called The Estee Edit which markets to a the new social media filled world. With the face of Kendall Jenner and Irene Kim the brand carries an array of makeup and skin care products that appeals to a younger audience. Overall, this marketing move is definitely in my eyes a positive one, as it has convinced me to take a look at Estee Lauder products again. For the next little while I will review the products that I have tried from the brand so I hope you enjoy!

PACKAGING

The lip liner comes in a sleek white box that adorns a graffiti theme – finished with a blue spray paint blotch detail at the end. The lip liner itself comes in a basic plastic white twist up pencil. The cap clicks well into place and the twist top clicks and slowly comes up to avoid twisting out too much product. Overall, the lip liner come in a regular twist up packaging that is light and easy to travel with.

PRODUCT

The lip liner comes in a very slim pencil which allows for precise application. The texture is smooth and does not feel waxy which keeps the liner from skipping. The application is simple and easy with little to no mess and also feels light weight on the lips. However, in keeping with being a lip liner it will still feel ‘dry’ on the lips but nothing irritating if worn alone. Overall, the lip liner looks and feels great, the application is clean and simple and pairs well with other lipsticks on top.

SHADE

The Barest (004): is a dusty rose nude that has become a great MLBB (my lips but better) for me. The colour sits on the darker side of nude tones which is great for those who cannot wear pale nude tones.
